“A special mention of the jury goes to the Irish short film The Innkeeper directed by Paudie Baggott. The funny story about an eight-year-old schoolgirl who, with her temperament and perseverance, almost brings the theatre performance under the direction of her meticulous teacher to failure, but in the end makes the audience laugh, delighted us.”
Foyle Film Festival 2023
“First runner up in the Irish Short Film category went to The Innkeeper directed by Paudie Baggott for its humour and humanity in an all too relevant story set at Christmas during a housing crisis.”
